Take Action to Save Public-Education-Government PEG TV NOW!
We need you to ask your Representatives in Washington to step-up and support and/or co-sponsor HB3745, the Community Access Preservation (CAP) Act of 2009. We need this bill to protect Community Television Network and all community access stations in our states and around the country.
The Community Access Protection (CAP) Act calls for four provisions:
1. Regulate all video providers (Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, etc.) in the same way.
2. Require all video providers to carry PEG channels in the same manner as they carry broadcast channels.
3. Allow PEG stations to use their PEG fees for any PEG-related purpose.
4. Require the FCC to look into the effect state franchising laws have had on PEG Access. During the study period, PEG should continue to receive support.
Support your PEG channels and the LOCAL information only they provide! Here's an easy way to do this:
Click the "Keep Us Connected" button link below and fill out 30 seconds worth of information. A fax will be sent to your Washington DC Representatives and Senators.

After clicking the link scroll to the bottom of the page. Enter your zip code. The page will refresh with images of your representatives. You can read the letter before you send it. You can also personalize it with your own PEG experience as a viewer or client of CTN. Add your name, email and address, and click "submit."
Thank you for your support of Ann Arbor's community media center, CTN!
CTN community producers prepare their letters in support of the Community Access Preservation Act of 2009.
