A Wood Frog (Rana sylvatica) in one of our fabulous nature areas
Our Frog & Toad Survey Kickoff for 2010 is Sunday, February 28th at 1:30pm! Spend this winter getting to know the area’s frogs and toads, their appearance and calls. Go out in the field and familiarize yourself with the parks whenever you can, then come to the kickoff and learn how to record your observations and hone your skills. Surveying is done three to six times during early spring at multiple sites, and each visit takes a few hours. No previous experience required.
Registration is required!
Please call us at 734-794-6627 or email us at nap@a2gov.org to RSVP before Feb 24th.
