Spring is almost here! Saturday, May 17 from 9:00am-12:00noon officially marks the Adopt-A-Park Spring Kick-off. We will be holding workdays at the following parks:
Beckley Park: Come help us distribute playground mulch and clean up the park.
Burns Park: Join us as we spread woodchips around the trees in this park to help control weeds, improve soil fertility and structure, and help protect surface roots. We will also be planting some flower beds.
Esch Park: Join us to spread woodchips around the trees and mulch underneath the playground.
Fuller Park: Come help plant trees and pick up trash.
Hannah Nature Area: Join us to remove invasive shrubs,plant a native understory, and mulch the trail.
Hanover Square: We will be planting perrenials and maintaining the established flower beds.
Hunt Park: Join us as we clean up the park for spring and plant some flowers around our park sign.
Huron Highlands Park: We would love your help planting and mulching trees around the playground! We could also use some help spreading woodchips under and around the playground structure.
Liberty Plaza: Join us to plant flowers, grasses, and mulch this centerally located gathering space.
Maryfield Wildwood Park: We will be spreading woodchips, picking up trash, and making sure the park is generally in order.
Wellington Park: Come help us plant some trees, mulch, and plant flowers.
Wurster Park: Come join us to help plant trees, mulch under the playground structure, and planting native grasses.
