Dams and Hydros 

The water plant operates and maintains four dams located on the Huron River: Barton, Argo, Geddes, and Superior. Two of the dams (Barton and Superior) generate hydroelectric power. All four dams are operated to maintain pond levels.

Each of the dams has an automatic controller designed to maintain the pond level within a 0.1 foot range
