ASSIGNMENTS:All Companies have assigned an Officer, a Driver/Operator and a Firefighter.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR FIREFIGHTERS:Twenty-four hours on, Forty-eight hours off. A twenty- four hour shift runs from 7:00a.m. to 7:00a.m. Every tenth work day is a code day allowing a 50.4 hour work week.
TRAINING:The Training Division has one Training Chief and one Training Captain. There are classrooms at three fire stations. Firefighters receive training in EMS, Firefighting, Haz-Mat and Special Operations. Training is scheduled every weekday morning and afternoons.
MAINTENANCE:The Maintenance Division has one Master Mechanic. This division is responsible for all Apparatus maintenance, station maintenance, pump testing, hose testing and SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) repair. The Master Mechanic work a 40 hour work week.

The ratings are based on many factors, including the quality of the fire department, the water supply and hydrant locations, the city communication systems the building codes, and the building inspection programs.
