Archived News Release: May 19, 2015 - Personnel from Ann Arbor fire station No. 3 (2130 Jackson Ave.) will temporarily relocate to station No. 1 (downtown Ann Arbor) beginning Friday, May 29, while station 3 undergoes asbestos abatement. The roof at station 3 is also scheduled for replacement during this same week, weather permitting.
June 8, 2015, update: Roof leaks have delayed station three’s originally scheduled June 8 reopening. A new reopening date will be posted here when it becomes available. Station three crews will continue to operate from station one until then.
Regular staffing levels will be maintained.
Any updates to be shared will be posted on the fire department's website, www.a2gov.org/fire.
