Public Works Open House October 5

Archived News Release: October 1, 2024 - Learn about the world of public works on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (4251 Stone School Road). This family-friendly event is for children and adults of all ages. Get an up-close look at larger-than-life trucks including street sweepers, solid waste vehicles and other heavy-duty trucks used in our work. The event will include free hands-on activities and crafts, including painting and naming a snowplow, fixing a water main break, unclogging a storm sewer, and touring the salt dome.
