The Office of Organizational Equity
The OOE was established in 2021 by the Ann Arbor City Administrator. The purpose of the office is to advance equity and diversity in the city structure and work throughout the community for a more equitable Ann Arbor. The OOE reports to the City Administrator and is not a part of Human Resources. This allows a more objective assessment and effort across the City structure and community.

Disability and Accessibility
All Ann Arbor citizens should have access to City resources and amenities. The OOE houses an Accessibility Coordinator that works with employees, citizens, departments, and projects to make Ann Arbor more accessible to those with disabilities. Please see the page Accessibility & Title VI for more information.
Transparency and Accountability
The OOE reports quarterly to the City Administrator and City Council on progress toward equity goals, activities, barriers, and established measures.
