Ann Arbor Scores 100 on the Municipal Equality Index in 2023 and 2024
The Human Rights Campaign established the Municipal Equality Index to examine and score how inclusive municipal laws, policies, and services are for the LGBTQ+ people who live and work there. Cities are rated based on non-discrimination laws, the municipality as an employer, municipal services, law enforcement and leadership on LGBTQ+ equality.
