Annual and 5YR Agency Plan
The Ann Arbor Housing Commission (AAHC) has developed its Annual Agency Plan and Five (5) Year Plan for FY25 in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. A Public Hearing will be held on January 15th, 2025, at the AAHC Administrative Office, 2000 S. Industrial Hwy, Ann Arbor, 48104 at 6:00 PM. It is available for review from November 20th, 2024, to January 15th, 2025, from 9am to 5pm., at the following locations in Ann Arbor:
- Miller Manor - AAHC Main Office, 727 Miller Avenue, 48103
- AAHC Admin and Financial Office, 2000 S. Industrial, 48104
- Baker Commons Property Management Office, 106 Packard, 48103
Written comments will be accepted to Weneshia Brand at [email protected] or any Ann Arbor Housing Commission location listed above until April 11th, 2025.
RFP #24-25 & #24-26 West Arbor Solar Panel Installation
The AAHC is issuing an RFP to select a firm for the installation and project interconnection of Solar PV Systems to be located at our West Arbor property.
All proposals are due and must be delivered via email to Tom Pierce, Construction Project Manager, [email protected] on or before November 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. (EST).

Potential Job Opportunities Under Section 3 Program
Increases in Section 8 Scams
Recently, fliers have been circulating on social media advertising assistance with applying for Section 8 funding. The flyer and website ‘www.govassistance[dot]org’ are NOT legitimate. The scam aims to take advantage of Section 8 applicants to obtain their personal information to facilitate fraudulent activity.
There are multiple versions of the below advertisement on various websites including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok, typically with slightly changed verbiage and dates.
Please contact the AAHC directly with questions about available applications. You should never be charged to join a waiting list.
Individuals who fall victim to this or similar scams can file a complaint at the
Internet Crime Compliant Center (IC3). Additionally, if someone reaches out to you about a scam involving HUD, please reach out to our Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) at
