Barton Dam construction work will begin in Ann Arbor in early March 2025. The dam is adjacent to Barton Pond, Barton Nature Area, Bird Hills Nature Area and trails to and along the Huron River.

The City of Ann Arbor is launching Engage Ann Arbor (EA2), a dynamic online hub designed to significantly improve how the city shares information and gathers input on projects and programs.

The Ann Arbor Community Academy (A2CA) is returning for its eighth year to provide a closeup look at local government. The popular program, free and open to community members 18 years of age and older, will again be conducted with a hybrid approach. Weekly sessions will be held either online or in person, 6:30–8:30 p.m. Wednesdays throughout March and April.

The New Year is bringing in new leadership to key roles for the City of Ann Arbor. City Administrator Milton Dohoney Jr. is announcing his recommendation for public services area administrator and is introducing the new Ann Arbor deputy city administrator.
