City Launches A2 Engage Online Hub
The City of Ann Arbor is launching Engage Ann Arbor (EA2), a dynamic online hub designed to significantly improve how the city shares information and gathers input on projects and programs. More than a year in development, and in partnership with Social Pinpoint, this innovative platform marks a step forward in digital public engagement and transparency.
About Engage Ann Arbor (EA2)
Engage Ann Arbor (EA2) is a comprehensive online platform that provides residents with detailed, interactive insights into city projects and initiatives by leveraging tools such as data visualization, mapping and surveys. The city had been using similar tools in the past, and EA2 brings them all together, in one place, to enhance how the city communicates and collaborates with the community.
Features of EA2:
- Survey tools: Efficiently share your opinions and feedback on city initiatives.
- Data integration: Access a wide range of datasets relevant to ongoing projects.
- Engagement tools: Participate in discussions and stay informed about current and upcoming projects.
- Interactive maps: Explore project locations and affected areas with ease.
The features on the hub will be used based on the needs of the project, therefore not all projects will need the use of each.
The City of Ann Arbor is excited to expand EA2’s reach, empowering residents with a new way to play an active role in projects and planning. EA2 will complement, not replace, the other ways the city interacts with the community, ultimately helping to ensure everyone can participate and be heard, effectively and as conveniently as possible.
