Youth Volunteers GIVE Gazette About Us
GIVE 365 is a volunteer and outreach program within Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation. We work with volunteers to maintain and beautify our parks and to make improvements and enhancements to the Ann Arbor park system. There are 164 park properties that the city maintains and cares for here in Ann Arbor! Staff and volunteers work together to steward our public parkland. GIVE 365 works in developed parks while Natural Area Preservation works in natural areas. Come volunteer with us!

Trash Trailblazers
'Trash Trailblazing' is a volunteer-on-your-own-time type of program. If you walk regularly and would like to collect trash on your walks, we invite you to be a part of our Trash Trailblazers team! It’s easy, and there are no scheduled times, just visit our Trash Trailblazer information page to learn how to pick up the kit and track your parks and litter collected. Materials supplied: reusable garbage bag, trash picker, portable hand scale and gloves.

Our Junior Volunteer Club program will return in 2025!

About Us
The GIVE 365 Volunteer and Outreach Program began in the spring of 2011. The program is funded by the voter approved Parks Maintenance and Capital Improvements Millage. We facilitate volunteer projects and opportunities in city parks or recreation facilities. We have a variety of projects, work days and events perfect for individuals and groups. We have featured work day events with set days and times that you can sign up for and we also have customized outings if you are looking for a group opportunity on a day and time that works for you. GIVE also manages the Adopt-A-Park program so if you are interested in volunteering at your local park on a recurring basis, we invite you to reach out to us.
Our motto here at GIVE: Anything is Possible.
We specialize in PARKNERSHIPS.
Community engagement is our thing.
