Bird Walks

Ann Arbor's parks are great places to see birds with the whole family. NAP's Ornithologist, Juliet Berger, leads bird walks in the spring and fall seasons for interested bird watchers.

There will typically be:

  • A walk in May at Gallup Park, to look for newly arrived nesting birds like the Baltimore Oriole.
  • A walk in September at Mary Beth Doyle Park, to see migrating shorebirds and warblers.

These bird walks are family friendly, and Gallup and Mary Beth Doyle Parks are handicap accessible.

Please check our calendar for information on future bird walks.
