Baxter Park

Overview

Baxter Park is a 2 acre park located on Baxter Road off Green Road in the northeast corner of the city. View the Ann Arbor Parks and Nature Areas map​ for location context. The park contains a play area, half basketball court, a picnic table, benches, and a long sloping lawn with a set of soccer goals.​​ Adjacent to the park you will find the Green Baxter Court Community Center.

Park Notices

​Quiet hours start at 10 p.m. Unless otherwise posted per City Council resolution, when a park is closed, no person shall remain in or enter it other than to quietly sit or walk.​

Access and Parking

There is no parking at the park. Street parking is available across Green Road in the neighborhood along Frederick Drive​, about a three-minute walk from the park. There is a pedestrian crossing on Green Road very near the park.

The park is accessible by foot and bicycle via sidewalks and bike lanes along Green Road. There are no sidewalks or bike lanes on Baxter Road.

Public Transportation

When reporting an issue in a park please include detailed location information in the "details and description" section near the end of the request process.
