Wild and Wacky Day Camps

This fun and unique day camp will offer campers the opportunity to go on adventures, try new exciting activities and have fun with new friends in and out of the water. This year, we have all new programs to make any camper’s summer the best ever! Each week, we will spend time exploring all the fun the pool, river and park has to offer. Campers will learn to log roll, raft down the river, enjoy water slide races, have fun in our bounce house, play a little water polo, traditional camp games, sports, crafts and even some basic swimming lessons. Enjoy a $20 per week discount if you register by April 30. Our camp is licensed by the State of Michigan, and camp staff is well trained and excited to help your camper have their best summer yet! All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR, and many are lifeguards and swim instructors. We have something for every camper to love, so check our wet, wild and wacky weeks below, and join us for an awesome summer adventure.
  • Camp Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Camp Fee: $190 resident per week; $230 nonresident per week.
  • Extended Camp Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 4:30-6 p.m.
  • Extended hours Fee: $50 resident.

June 19-23 Wet and Wacky Week

This week, we will be introducing campers to some fun new water experiences including log rolling, water slide races and fun water games out of the pool. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, campers will experience fun swim lessons with one instructor for every five campers. Lessons will be separated by age and be 30-minutes long. On Tuesday, we will take our weekly river adventure. Throughout the week, we will spend our afternoons swimming in the pool. On Friday, we will have fun in our very own bounce house, and end each week with some delicious s’mores.

June 26-June 30, Wild World of Star Wars Week

May the force be with you when you raft down the river with new friends, hunting for Ewoks and building your very own light saber. Fight against the dark side with us as we practice the ways of Obi-Won Kenobi and play our very own version of capture the storm trooper. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, campers will experience fun swim lessons with one instructor for every five campers. Lessons will be separated by age and be 30-minutes long. Each Friday will be packed full of swimming, bounce house fun, games and smores.

July 3-7 (no camp July 4), Mermaid/Mermen Week

Has your camper dreamed of living life under the sea? This week, campers will get to try swimming with fins and a mermaid tail. Campers will use storytelling, creativity and their new water skills to develop their mermaid or merman character and leave camp with an underwater photo of their experience. This week, we will also be enjoying our bounce house, smores and land games and activities. Our mermaid and merman training will be in the water daily with a one-to-five instructor-to-camper ratio. Campers can bring their own tails to be used during their training or borrow a tail from us.

July 10-14, Wacky Superhero Week

This week, campers will be learning and practicing their superhero skills. We will have fun making capes, creating superhero personas and even learning how to be a real-life superhero to save themselves and others in the pool. Meet real-life heroes, visit the University of Michigan Survival Flight team, and use real rescue equipment at the pool. No week of camp would be complete without some life-saving swim lessons and a trip on the Huron River.

July 17-21, Harry Potter Goes Wild Week

Make potions, meet owls and challenge other houses in the Wet and Wild Hogwarts Games. Campers will enjoy a new challenge each day and parents will love the skills campers are building socially and physically in the water. Our weekly lessons with a one-to-five instructor-to-camper ratio, log rolling, river rafting and bounce house will help to make this week a magical one for your camper.

July 24-28, Wild and Wacky Olympics Week

Join a team and create a country to represent as we put you through some of the craziest and most entertaining competitions you’ve ever experienced. Bounce house wars, water luge races, log roll offs, river rafting races, rescue tube relays and so much more. Hone your swimming skills in our weekly swim lessons, and score points for your team to win the Wild and Wacky Olympics.

July 31- Aug. 4, Animated Adventure’s Week

This week, campers will bring some of their favorite movies to life through games and activities. Build an Olaf from Frozen and take him on an adventure. Play games as only the Minions can, and create your own minion adventure. Live like the Little Mermaid for a day of tail swimming and underwater exploration. Live with “hakuna matata” as we play games only the wildest animals and lion cubs would like. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, campers will experience fun swim lessons with one instructor for every five campers. Lessons will be separated by age and be 30 minutes long. On Tuesday, we will take our weekly river adventure. Throughout the week, we will spend our afternoons swimming in the pool. On Friday, we will have fun in our very own bounce house and end each week with some delicious s’mores!

Aug. 7-11, Wet and Wild Pirates Week

Ahoy! Join us for a week of treasure hunts, river races and hi-jinx on the high pool seas. Campers will enjoy building their own pint-size pirate ships and searching for underwater treasures. Our pirates will lead campers in our weekly swim lessons, river trips and log rolling. Aug. 14-18, Wacky River Adventure Week Raft down the river with new friends, explore the river’s edge and learn to fish this week. We will also be rafting or tubing down the Argo Cascades at Argo and playing at Island park. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, campers will experience fun swim lessons with one instructor for every five campers. Lessons will be separated by age and be 30-minutes long. Each Friday will be packed full of swimming, bounce house fun, games and smores. 

Aug. 14-18, Wacky River Adventure Week

Raft down the river with new friends, explore the river's edge and learn to fish this week. We will also be rafting or tubing down the Argo Cascades at Argo and playing at Island park. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday campers will experience fun swim lessons with one instructor for every five campers. Lessons will be separated by age and be 30-minutes long. Each Friday will be packed full of swimming, bounce house fun, games and smores.

Aug. 21-26, Wild Sports Week

Join us as we explore new ways to play some classic games and sports like water baseball and lawn broomball. Unleash your creative athletic self, and try out a three-legged capture the flag game or  blind beanbag toss. Try your hand at water polo, challenge your fellow camper to a duel on the log and improve your swimming skills with our weekly swim instruction. We are even open to suggestions. Come up with a wacky game or sport, and we will try it out at camp.

Aug. 28-Sept. 1, Wet and Wacky Hodgepodge Week

Finish out your summer with fun water games, rides down the waterslide, crafting fun and so much more! You don’t want your summer to end without a round of log rolling, river rafting or our swim lessons. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, campers will experience fun swim lessons with one instructor for every five campers. Lessons will be separated by age and be 30-minutes long. End your summer with a bang at our fun and wacky summer camp.

​Refund Fee for Day Camps

  • 46 days or more prior to the start of the day camp: 100% ($10 administration fee)
  • Within 30 - 45 days of start of the day camp: 50% ($10 administration fee)
  • Within 15 - 29 days of start of the day camp: 25% ($10 administration fee)
  • Within 14 days of start of the day camp: 0% ($0).

Information for Parents

Welcome to Fuller Pool Day Camp!!!! We are excited for the week to come. Here are a few reminders to make your camper's week as fun as possible!! On Wednesday's, we ask that you try to drop off your child/children to camp before 9-9:15 so we can leave for our fieldtrips early. We will be walking to Argo a lot this summer on these days. Also, we are not responsible for lost belongings, it is up to your camper to keep their items together and in the camp room. Lastly, money is allowed for the vending machines only during lunch and afternoon snack. We ask that you do not send your child with more than three dollars and is tucked away in a safe place. Here is a list of items that we recommend you send your child/children with:

  • Lunch
  • Bathing suit
  • Towel
  • Change of clothes (just in case)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Snack if you prefer (no nuts)
  • Gym shoes/Sandals for the pool (Gym shoes are recommended on Wednesday's when we take fieldtrips)

We do provide bug spray and a small snack after pool time. Your child/children may bring their own snack if they prefer, we just ask that it does not contain nuts. ​
