Liberty Plaza is a .26-acre urban plaza in downtown Ann Arbor located next to the Kempf House on the corner of Division and Liberty. The plaza has two levels with benches, planters with landscaping and a drinking fountain. This is a great lunch spot for downtown businesses. See a map of Liberty Plaza.
Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation is looking for groups interested in activating Liberty Plaza through rentals and events. Liberty Plaza, located at the corner of East Liberty and South Division streets, provides a unique downtown venue for gatherings.

Ann Arbor's city parks sit on the ancestral and traditional homelands of several indigenous Native peoples. Read a land acknowledgement from the city and learn more about the early history of the land here.
The Ann Arbor Host Lions Club is dedicated to serving others and helping to improve the lives of all people. The Lions Club partners with Adopt-a-Park each year to weed, mulch and plant a variety of plants in the garden.
The project was proposed and installed by the Ann Arbor Commission on Disability Issues in 2013. The garden also serves as a memorial for Pamela Baker Trostle, former chair of the Commission.
The sensory garden has a variety of plants that are chosen to maximize sensory impact, with people with disabilities in mind. Folks walking by the garden are encouraged to touch and interact with the garden's unique textures, scents, shapes and bright colors.

A2 Fix It is an online system you can use to report any maintenance issues or other problems during your park visit. When reporting an issue in a park please include detailed location information in the "details and description" section near the end of the request process. Pictures that provide location context are very helpful.
