Northside Park and Community Center

Overview

Northside Park​ is a 5.2 acre park located on the corner of Pontiac Trail and Taylor Street on the city's north side. View the Ann Arbor Parks and Nature Areas map​​ for location context. ​The park contains two ball diamonds, a basketball court, a gaga ball​ pit, a water fountain, restrooms, and a tennis court. The park is adjacent to A2STEAM, which contains a few larger play areas. The park is the home of the CAN Northside Community Center. This center serves as Community Action Network’s administrative building​.​​

Park Notices

Unless otherwise posted per City Council resolution, when a park is closed, no person shall remain in or enter it other than to quietly sit or walk.​

Access and Parking

There is street parking along Taylor Street, which forms the southern edge of the park. 

The park is accessible on foot and bicycle by using Pontiac Trail, which has bike lanes and sidewalks, and Taylor Street, which has sidewalks. There are no bike racks in the park.

Public Transportation

There are bus stops nearby on Pontiac Trail. The nearest stop is immediately adjacent to the park. Visit The​Ride for closest stops and route details or check out the parks ride guide. ​​​

A2 Fix It is an online system you can use to report any maintenance issues or other problems during your park visit. When reporting an issue in a park please include detailed location information in the "details and description" section near the end of the request process. Pictures that provide location context are very helpful.
