Plymouth Parkway Park

Overview

​Plymouth Parkway Park​ is a six acre park located along Plymouth Road​​ just north of the intersection of Plymouth, Broadway Street and Maiden Lane and just north of downtown. View the Ann Arbor Parks and Nature Areas Map for location context. The park is on both sides of Plymouth, but most of the park amenities are on the southern side of the road. The park contains a playground, benches, picnic table, paved paths that run through the park and a stairway that leads to Traver Road. The paths in this park receive winter snow clearing​. Trav​er Creek​ runs along the southern border of the park, along with a stand of tall trees providing shade.

Park Notices

Unless otherwise posted per City Council resolution, when a park is closed, no person shall remain in or enter it other than to quietly sit or walk.​

Access and Parking

There is no parking lot at the park. There is some street parking on Broadway Street near the park's main entrance. There is also some street parking on Traver Road at the north stairs entrance to the park. Refer to posted signage about parking rules and restrictions. There is a crosswalk across Plymouth Road which is the only way to get from the north parcel along Traver to the main parcel on the south side of Plymouth.

The park is accessible by foot and bicycle as there are three different path entrances to the park. There are path entrances off of Plymouth Road, Broadway Street, and Traver Road. Plymouth ​has a sidewalk and a bike lane on the westbound side of the road.​ There are no bike racks in the park.

The park is a short walk from many nearby parks including Argo Park​Riverside Park​, ​Longsh​ore Park​Fairview Cemetery​Beckley Park​, and Island Park​.

Public Transportation
