South Maple Park

Overview

South Maple Park is a 7.83 acre park off of ​Liberty Street, just west of South Maple Road on the city's western edge. View the Ann Arbor Parks and Nature Areas Map for location context. The park contains tennis courts (with overstripping for pickleball), a play area, sprawling open grass fields and a wooded area separating the two portions of the park. An accessible asphalt trail connects to the park from the subdivision to the south of the park and east. 

Park Notices

Unless otherwise posted per City Council resolution, when a park is closed, no person shall remain in or enter it other than to quietly sit or walk.​

Access and Parking

The park has a small parking lot off of Liberty Street.

The park is accessible by foot and bicycle using bike lanes and a sidewalk along Liberty Street. There are sidewalks along South Maple Road but no bike lanes. There are some bike racks in the park at the Liberty entrance near the tennis courts and at the playground.

Public Transportation
