Parking Reminders from the Ann Arbor Police Department
We are constantly engaged in the education of our residents and visitors and wanted to highlight some of most common parking violations. These include:

Parking in violation of posted signs such as: No parking 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. in downtown locations

No parking, tow away zone

Over the legal limit (either at a metered or residential neighborhood)

What should you do if you get a parking citation? Don't ignore it! There are several options to pay the citation or to appeal it:

Parking citations can be appealed to the parking referee.

The fine for an expired meter parking ticket is $15 if paid by the end of the next business day, $25 if paid within 14 days, $60 if paid after 14 days and $70 after 30 days.
