Who are the Green Energy Neighbors?

Green Energy Neighbors (GEN) is a program designed by A2ZERO Ambassadors passionate about advancing carbon neutrality. GEN aims to connect households and individuals considering home efficiency and energy improvements with community members (mentors) who have already made these changes to learn about their experience. Our network is free of charge and open to all interested in reducing their home’s carbon footprint.

How can I get involved with Green Energy Neighbors?

#1 Visit the Green Energy Neighbors at a community event:

Learn from a neighbor about their experience with home efficiency, electrification, and renewable energy projects.

If you have questions about home efficiency, electrification, and renewable energy adoption, the Green Energy Neighbors are here to help! Mentors in the network have completed projects such as energy audits, switched from gas to all electric appliances, installed solar panels and solar batteries, and much more.

#2 Become a Green Energy Mentor:

Share your experience with home efficiency, electrification, and renewable energy projects.

Join the Green Energy Neighbor Mentor network and connect with community members to share your experience on decarbonizing your home.

#3 Become a Green Energy Administrator:

If you are an A²ZERO Ambassador, you can support the program by coordinating events and other engagement opportunities.
