The consolidated Customer Service and Payment Center routes city calls and requests associated with the city. This includes: Engineering, Solid Waste, Street Maintenance, Water Utilities, Traffic Control, Parking and Treasury. The unit also provides general information for walk-in customers. This unit is responsible for water utility meter reading, installation, repair, billing, backflow prevention inspections and certifications. Calls about traffic engineering, including signal timing, speed limits, sign installations, and traffic calming, are handled by the Engineering Unit.
