Ann Arbor Shares A200 Bicentennial Upcoming Events

August 1, 2024 - ​The City of Ann Arbor is thanking all who have helped celebrate the Ann Arbor Bicentennial this summer, including Good Morning America for their live broadcast from Ann Arbor July 3! Ann Arbor Community Television Network as there, too, capturing the excitement.

Explore the history of Ann Arbor and Dexter with a presentation from Russ Collins of the Michigan Theater. Learn more.

Bicentennia​​​l Ceremonial Tree Planting

Wednesday, September 4

4 – 5 p.m.

Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden, 1610 Washington Heights

A ceremony will be held to plant the official Ann Arbor Bicentennial tree in the Nichols Arboretum. Staff and leadership from the University of Michigan and the City of Ann Arbor will be in attendance. The event is open to the public. Learn more.
