Cranbrook Park

Overview​

Cranbrook Park​​ is a 17 acre park nestled between several housing developments between Main Street and Ann Arbor-Saline Road in the southwest corner of the city. View the Ann Arbor Parks and Nature Areas map for location context. The park provides a sprawling green space with open fields and wooded natural areas. The park also contain​s a play area, a half basketball court, picnic tables, ​an accessible paved path through the park and a pedestrian bridge connecting to the Main Street entrance.

This park also contains a small natural area with unpaved trails meandering through it. This natural area is a wetland where no trail maintenance can take place. Boots are encouraged as it can be wet and muddy. Explore it at your own risk!

Park Notices

Unless otherwise posted per City Council resolution, when a park is closed, no person shall remain in or enter it other than to quietly sit or walk.​

Access and Parking

There is no parking available at Cranbrook Park. There are three pedestrian entrances to the park: two on Oakbrook Drive (west side of the parksouth side of the park​) and one on Main Street. There are sidewalks along ​Ann Arbor-Saline Road, Oakbrook Drive and Main Street, so the park is accessible on foot from a variety of directions. The park is near the Cranbrook Village mall.

Public Transportation

There are bus stops next​ to park entrances on South Main Street and West Oakbrook Drive​.​ Visit TheRide for closest stops and route details or check out the parks ride guide. ​​​
