Lansdowne Park is a 2.6 acre neighborhood park on Lans Way near Seventh Street in the southwest corner of the city. View the Ann Arbor Parks & Nature Areas Map for location context. The park is an large green space and contains a play area, a basketball court, a soccer field and a paved walk. Natural features include a stand of blue spruces and red maples next to the playground and a small rain garden in the northwest corner of the park.

The park has open access along Lans Way, and there is plenty of street parking along the road.
The park is accessible by foot and bicycle using the surrounding streets. The streets have sidewalks. Nearby Seventh Street has sidewalks and nearby Scio Church Road has sidewalks and one bike lane. There are no bike racks at the park.
The park is a short walk (5-10 minutes) from Lawton Park, Meadowbrook Park, Churchill Downs Park, and Eisenhower Park.

Lansdowne Park was acquired by the city in 1963 as the surrounding neighborhood was developed. The land was given to the city by the developer, as new developments at the time had a requirement to include park land. The soccer goals were added in 2000. The play structure was installed in 2006, along with new benches and tables, a new path and new basketball nets.
