Water Fact

Archived News Release: December 1, 2023 - As children, our parents would often remind us to drink enough water! That wasn’t only to prevent us from drinking Kool-Aid, pop or whatever sugary liquid was available, but because they understood how much our body needs water. Seventy-five percent of the human brain is water. The entirety of the human body is 2/3 water, and it forms the basis of blood, digestive liquid, sweat (which helps keep us cool) and lives in muscle, fat and bones. But humans aren’t camels and need fresh water each day to recover what we lose. Think of it this way, a human can live a month without food but only 5-7 days without water! Your body will thank you for every award-winning glass of Ann Arbor water you drink.
