Upcoming City Holiday Schedules

December 17, 2024 - ​City of Ann Arbor municipal offices and the 15th District Court will be closed for the holidays on Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024 (Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), as well as Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 (New Year's Eve and New Year's Day). Residential curbside collections will not take place on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024, or Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, with service being shifted by one day both weeks, meaning collections will occur Thursdays through Saturdays. Safety services and utility operations will maintain 24-hour schedules throughout.

In 2025, the city will once again offer winter pickup of compost carts as part of the monthly winter composting program. Compost cart pickups will take place the weeks of Jan. 6, Feb. 3, and March 3, 2025. Regular curbside compost season will resume in April 2025.
